Questions about SteelPen

Can I draft with the free plan?

No. Trusted Contributor is for capturing and organizing source material. Drafting, Steel Man and boss or colleague reviews require Difference Maker or Force Multiplier. Plan details.

Which plan includes structured reports?

Force Multiplier includes structured reports, long outputs, heavy processing, the context library and writing-sample matching. Difference Maker includes drafting and reviews without those advanced features. Compare plans.

Does Steel Man verify that a claim is true?

Steel Man is model-assisted pressure-testing of claims and draft replies using the material you provide. It can surface unsupported leaps and missing context, but it does not guarantee factual accuracy; check important claims against the original sources before using a response. Source-to-response workflow.

Does SteelPen publish my posts automatically?

You can generate a draft from selected notes on a paid plan, then review and use it yourself. SteelPen does not autonomously publish it to social media. Capture, review and respond.

How long does SteelPen keep my content?

Active content expires after one day by default, with six-hour and three-day choices. Export anything you need to keep; active-system cleanup does not expire operational backups, external provider records or your downloaded exports. Retention and deletion policy.

Is SteelPen end-to-end encrypted?

SteelPen encrypts user-authored content at rest at the application layer and uses HTTPS in transit. It is not a zero-knowledge system: the service decrypts content for authenticated access and requested processing, and providers process content sent through generation or transcription features. Security and third-party processing.
